Douglas and Lincoln Hall

Utilities and Energy Services uses a variety of energy monitoring tools, processes and programs to provide real-time predictions of energy consumption and trends to help identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and reduction of costs.

While UES focuses on providing safe, reliable, and cost effective energy throughout our campuses, UIC recognizes that there is always opportunity to increase energy efficiency. OVCAS has created an Energy Management Team to facilitate appropriate actions to identify and evaluate strategic energy saving opportunities. This initiative will impact UIC energy and sustainability practices so the university can reduce its carbon footprint and work toward a more sustainable future.
